Comfort wheelchairs

Comfort wheelchairs are wheelchairs for citizens who need extra comfort. The extra comfort reduces the risk of pressure sores for citizens who spend a large part of the day sitting in a wheelchair.

Most of our comfort wheelchairs are designed and developed in Denmark by Danish therapists and engineers. This means a focus on quality, usability and a good working environment for healthcare professionals in Denmark.

All of our comfort wheelchairs are CE marked and are available under the following product series on the HMI database:

• Manual assistant-operated comfort wheelchairs with seat tilt
• Electric wheelchairs, assistant-operated, class A (primarily for indoor use)
• Electric wheelchairs, motorized control, class A (primarily for indoor use)

Our therapist-trained consultants provide free training in the use of all assistive devices in the range. Most assistive devices, including wheelchairs, are also loaned for a shorter period for testing.
