Bariatric Shower Commode<\/h1>\n

Bariatric Shower Commode is designed to help a bariatric user weighing up to 325 kg during transfers to and from the bathroom, in the shower, and during lavatory use<\/p>\n

Construction<\/h5>\n

The inside width of the Bariatric Shower Commode is 61\/71 cm, but using a five cm high PU foam seat and some free space to the armrests allows the body mass to fall down, instead of fading out to the sides.<\/p>\n

The footrest can carry 100 kg each and is also side and width adjustable. This makes access to intimate hygiene possible. Moreover people with the tissue placed on the inside of their leg can sit with legs apart and still have foot support. The footrest is covered with PU foam.<\/p>\n

The commode wheeler has a split toilet seat, a long open hole measuring 44 cm and 22 cm at the widest point. It eases access for caregivers and avoids incidents.<\/p>\n

The space between backrest and seat leaves space for a possible bulbose gluteal region, but also enables the caregivers to reach for the sling and position the user better. Shower Commode has two differents types of armrests. Classic armrests and armrests bending out like a butterfly, so the body doesn\u2019t get squeezed, getting in and out the shower commode. The butterfly armrests of the shower commode also provide much better functionality for the user. Straight and short armrests can make it is almost impossible for a bariatric user to get a good grip.<\/p>\n

Maintenance and cleaning<\/h5>\n

The white frame components and the seat and armrests may be cleaned with water and a household detergent. To thoroughly clean the seat: unscrew the four screws under the seat and clean. Make sure to fasten the seat properly again.<\/p>\n
