Lasal Dental Cushions<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Lasal Dental Cushions for comfort during dental treatment are used by children as well as adult within all areas of dental care. The cushions are used to provide optimal support, stabilization and comfort during dental treatment. The range features cushions for support of the head, neck, arms, legs, upper back and lower back. The cushions can be used individually or in different combinations.<\/p>\n

Sitting in an ordinary dental chair can be a challenge for physically or mentally disabled persons as this group of patients need extra body support or higher comfort compared to ordinary patients. It is necessary to take the patient\u2019s special needs into consideration as he\/she may suffer from deformities, muscle tension or involuntary movements.<\/p>\n

For other patients it may be about comfort and delimitation of the body in order to be able to relax and be present in the actual situation. Regardless of the underlying reason, the aim is to avoid an uncomfortable position that may affect the muscle tension in an undesired way and thus complicating dental treatment.<\/p>\n

Lasal Dental Cushions are developed in cooperation with the Mun-H Centre in Odontology in Gothenburg, Sweden, and Cobi Rehab Sweden.<\/p>\n

Cleaning<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Wipe off the inner Cushion (PU-coated polyester) with alcohol or common cleaning agents diluted in water. Do not machine wash. EPS-beads melt at temperatures above 70\u00b0 C. Therefore washing machine \/ tumble dryer will be damaged if EPS-beads come into contact with the heating element in these machines.
\nCare should be taken that the pH value of the used disinfection should be below 11.4. Do not use fabric softener or any other additive containing solvents.<\/p>\n

The hygiene cover (PU-coated polyester) can be machine washed and tumble dried at max. 95\u00b0 C. It tolerates alcohol and all industrial detergents. Care should be taken that the pH value of the used disinfection should be below 11.4.

The OEKO-TEX single jersey cover is machine washable at 60\u00b0 C and can be tumble dried at low temperature. Do not bleach or dry clean. Do not use fabric softener or any other additive containing solvents.<\/p>\n

In order to ensure adequate channels for transportation of water when the textiles are squeezed together in the washing machine, it is recommended to wash coated textiles with non-coated textiles 1:1.<\/p>\n

Maintenance and storage<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Apart from common cleaning, Lasal Dental Cushions do not require any special maintenance. The cushions should be stored in dry conditions and at room temperature. Avoid contact with sharp edges, pointed items or rough surfaces which all may harm the cushions. Keep the cushions out of direct sunlight for longer periods.<\/p>\n

Safety information<\/strong><\/h5>\n

– Extra attention should be paid to children below 3 years and people who are incapable of moving on their own or taking care of themselves.
\n– Avoid contact with sharp, pointed or rough items or surfaces against the cushions as this might harm or at worst tear the cushion apart. E.g.; avoid getting the cushions squeezed in the moving parts of the dental chair.
\n– Never use damaged cushions.
\n– Do not use the cushions in combination with electric blankets as the user may feel uncomfortable due to overheating.
\n– Do not use a PC or other technical devise in or on top of a LASAL Dental Cushion as the technical devices may become overheated and in worst case cause fire.<\/p>\n
